Alchemists includes five contemporary Albuquerque-based
artists, all of whom use unconventional materials and
methods to realize their creative visions.
The chemicals and plastics of our modern world may seem
lifeless and unnatural, yet these pioneering artists infuse
such substances with wonderful vitality.
By combining traditional artistic expertise and 21stcentury
sensibilities, the participants in this group
exhibition explore new connections between nature,
technology, and spirit.
